Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to all contracts between the provider and the user regarding use of the member area and BeFame's digital content.

2. Subject of the contract

The subject is access to digital learning content: course modules, inspiration library, profile builder and roadmap.

This is an educational product. A specific commercial outcome, a specific reach or any revenue is expressly not part of the contract.

3. Conclusion of contract

The contract comes into effect when the provider confirms the order. Access is unlocked after successful payment.

4. Prices and payment

The prices stated at the time of ordering apply, including statutory VAT.

Access to the member area is sold as a license against a single one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.

Three licenses are offered: a 3-month license with 90 days of access, a 1-year license with 365 days of access, and a lifetime license with permanent access.

5. Term and expiry

A license runs for the access period stated at the time of purchase and then expires automatically. Nothing has to be cancelled.

When a license expires, the account and the saved progress are kept, but the member content is locked until a new license is purchased.

If a new license is bought while the current one is still running, the new access period is added on top of the remaining days.

The lifetime license does not expire. Access remains as long as the product is operated, and updates to the member area are included.

6. Follower services, no refunds, user liability

Follower orders are digital services delivered immediately after purchase. By ordering, the user expressly consents to immediate performance and acknowledges the loss of any right of withdrawal. All follower purchases are final and non-refundable.

The user is solely responsible for the username entered at checkout. Wrong, misspelled, private or deleted profiles are the user's own liability. Orders delivered to an incorrectly entered handle are considered fulfilled and are neither refunded nor re-delivered.

The user is responsible for keeping the profile public and available for the whole delivery period.

7. Usage rights

The user receives a simple, non-transferable right to use the content personally.

Redistribution, reproduction, making content publicly available and sharing login credentials are prohibited.

8. User obligations

Login credentials must be kept confidential. The user is responsible for the legality of anything they publish based on the content, in particular regarding copyright, trademark and personality rights.

9. Availability

The provider aims for high availability. Maintenance windows and outages outside the provider's control do not give rise to a claim for reduction.

10. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health.

In cases of simple negligence, liability applies only to the breach of essential contractual duties and is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

11. Changes to content

The provider may develop, extend and update the content as long as the purpose of the contract is preserved.

12. Final provisions

The law of the provider's country of establishment applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection rules say otherwise.

Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of the contract stays in force.
